Everybody makes mistakes; we have all had those days .When we want to look beautiful blurred vision of beauty comes in the way. I came up with the seven goofiest make up mistakes that we women make. So i am going to tell you about a few common mistakes so you don't have to learn it the hard way!
Not to shake Nail paints
Although most products come with instructions to shake before use, nail polish isn't one of them. Avoid shaking your lacquer like a Polaroid picture, lest you want an air-bubble mani. Instead, roll the bottle in your hands to warm and mix the colour.
Using the Wrong Products for Your Skin Type
Your skin is one of the first things that people notice about you. No matter how awesome your eyeliner or lipstick is, it won't matter if your skin looks bad. If you're not blessed with naturally even skin. You may want to use foundation and concealer to hide imperfections and even out your skin tone. Be careful, however, because using the wrong type of foundation and concealer for your skin type can be disastrous for your skin.
Use a foundation and concealer that's made for your skin type. If you have an oily skin so use mattifying oil-free foundations and concealers that won't clog pores and cause breakouts. If you have very dry skin, you should use hydrating products that don't settle into fine lines and wrinkles.
Applying the Wrong Shade for Your Skin Tone
Another common mistake that women make is applying the wrong shade of foundation and concealer for their skin tone. Nothing looks worse than the face being a different colour from the neck and chest. Foundation and concealer should blend and fade into your skin. The best way to choose the right shade of foundation and concealer for you is to apply a small amount of it along your jaw line in, or as near as possible to, natural light. The product should disappear into your skin.
Blend…Blend & Blend
Sometimes we get a flawless finish but forget to blend. This common mistake will leave you looking like you are wearing a mask. So girlfriends! Blend your blush properly..Buy a cosmetic sponge after all blending is the key!
Dark Lip Liner
For a brief time in the nineties dark lip liner over light lipstick may have been fashionable. If it was, the fad is now over. Please toss away the black lip liner and use a more flattering colour.
Cakey Side
Lastly, it's important to not use too much makeup. Apply foundation and concealer sparingly, just enough to even out your skin tone and hide imperfections. Otherwise, you'll look like you have a mask on. Remember, it's easier to apply more later on if needed than it is to wash everything off and start all over again.
Wash your makeup brushes once a week.
You must be so guilty of not washing your makeup brushes as often as we should, but once you started, you actually noticed a considerable difference in my skin. Bacteria can grow on makeup brushes, which then get spread around your face and causes breakouts. Here’s a tip for letting your makeup brushes dry: wrap them in a towel and lay them flat. This will absorb excess oil and won’t damage the fibres.
